About this station

NOAA builds the predictions for Dog Island, west end from the APALACHICOLA station: high tides about 1.73× the height, 113 min earlier; low tides about 1.40× the height, 158 min earlier.

Two coasts, two personalities: modest 2 to 4 ft semidiurnal ranges on the Atlantic side, mixed tides on the Gulf side, and king tides that flood streets on calm, sunny days.
